The Knights of Columbus Council #546 was chartered on November 12, 1900 in Sandusky, Ohio and has been serving this community as a Catholic Fraternal Charitable organization since that time.
The Knights of Columbus offers men a place to lead their families and communities in faith and service and put their Faith into Action. Knights of Columbus members have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their parishes and families.
Here are some service projects we've done in the past:
One project was to refurbish the Guardian Angel in the front of Holy Angels.
The following year one of our members made the Cross and the Knights purchased the Corpus of Christ for the Crucifix in the St. Mary’s Commons.
We ran a fish fry to help Sts. Peter and Paul install a security system.
Our Council has worked with the Catholic Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts within the Tri-Parishes.
We give scholarships to our children entering St. Mary’s High School. We also have a scholarship program that is open to our High School graduates in our local area to help them with college.
We support our local seminarian Michael Bialorucki, along with support to Campus Ministry.
We are involved in a variety of local, national and international projects:
