The finance councils for Saint Mary’s, Holy Angels and Saints Peter and Paul, and the Tri-Parish Pastoral council are looking for individuals willing to serve as council members.
Parish Finance Councils meet four (4) times each year to review financial statements and consider how best to ensure the finest stewardship of parish assets. Ideal individuals will have a background in business, accounting, banking, civil law or human resources.
The Tri-Parish Pastoral Council meets five (5) times each year to offer counsel on pastoral and evangelical initiatives. This council works closely with the Pastor and key pastoral staff members to ensure that the spiritual, catechetical and liturgical needs of parishioners are met and that the Catholic faith continues to grow in our community.
For both councils, members must be fully-initiated Catholics in good standing, registered at Saint Mary’s, Holy Angels or Saints Peter and Paul Parishes, and commit themselves to being an active member of the tri-parish community (regularly attending parish events and offerings), including Mass on weekends and Holy Days of Obligation.
If you or someone you know would like to be considered for membership on one of these councils, please let Father Hoyles know. He can be reached at (419) 625-7500 or via email at [email protected].
