The Catholic Parishes and Catholic Cemeteries of Sandusky are looking for two (2) part-time, or one (1) full-time maintenance and field laborer. This position includes a variety of maintenance work, cleaning, mowing and trimming parish lawns, snow removal, movement and setting of memorials, painting, assistance in locating, digging and filling graves with machinery, general field maintenance and other similar indoor and outdoor work. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in general maintenance that will help keep our parish campuses and cemeteries in good working condition. Knowledge of using a mini-excavator, tractor and dump truck is a huge plus, but not required, although the candidate must be willing to learn these skills.

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, ability to read and follow written directions, work respectfully with others, good communication skills, follow safety guidelines, and lift/move heavy items. Part-time is 20 hours per week; full-time is 36 hours per week. Full-time includes health, dental and vision benefits, retirement, paid sick and vacation time.
