At certain points in their parish assignments, both pastors and associate pastors undergo a Ministry Review Process.  This typically happens when a priest gets close to completing a term (typically six years for a pastor and 3-4 years for an associate).  Father Hoyles has been pastor since July 2018 (5 years) and Father Zach arrived just over 3 years ago in July 2020.  In the Diocese of Toledo, this process consists of a survey, which is sent electronically to a number of parishioners in order to gain vital feedback and insight, which will be used to help the Priests’ personnel Board in making its recommendation to Bishop Thomas on term renewal or for a change in assignment.  This survey also helps the priests to gain valuable, anonymous feedback on his strengths and areas for improvement.

In this process, approximately 75 people (per priest) will be asked to take a short survey, which will be sent via email to randomly selected parishioners in early October.  The priests themselves also have the opportunity to select a few staff members and individuals who serve on various parish and school councils to take the survey.

If you are one of the families who receives a survey, we ask that you give each of the questions serious consideration and offer your best advice to the Personnel Board on our ministry and how it can be improved.  We are tremendously grateful for your help in this important process!
